Mathilde Roussel, Move. cut found photographs, various sizes.

Because moving from one house to an other is part of my personal history, I started collecting snapshots of houses and of people posing in front of their house. The houses are cut out from the image, they have been erased, they are missing. The absence of these houses refers to all the objects and stories that belonged to the house and are now part of memory.”
